This variant of the Gloster Meteor was developed and built by Armstrong Whitworth as a night fighter. This particular airframe was operated by Ferranti radio corporation and used as an aid for developing radar systems. It was spotted at RAF East Fortune aviation museum, outside Edinburgh, Scotland.
